possible 3rd use for "ta"

Obviously ta is the copula and the present tense marker for other verbs. I think there may be a third usage: at the beginning of a phrase it may be some kind of emphatic particle or signal of “fronting.” Something like this:

Kiko bo ta hasi? What are you doing?
Ta kiko bo ta hasi? WHAT are you doing!?

Djis un teoria. Mi ta buska konfirmashon.

This emphatic copula is common in Portuguese and French:

"O que é que você está fazendo?" could also be put in Papiamento word order: "É o quê que você tá fazendo?"

In French we have "Qu'est-ce que c'est".
